When Mark Elliott of Crestone Films approached us to build a new website for his production company, it was obvious that we needed to use video – his medium – to help paint the picture. Mark has made numerous documentaries. We wanted visitors to hear a little about his intention for each. Because budget was a concern, but we all agreed these short videos would provide real value, we chose to pull the color out of the video, which required no lighting, just a considered use of contrast, and frame them strongly, which gave visitors “Mark” in the simple terms of black and white. Here’s one of these successful, brief, and inexpensive little clips.
